In Bethlehem

‘Our Saviour’ born,

To pave the path

For Everyone…

“No Room At The Inn!”

The keepers say.

So, Mary and Joseph

Went on their way!

Until they found

A place to rest,

To birth a child

So Humbly Blessed!

Now in a manger

Jesus lay,

Upon a bed

Of Golden Hay!

A star shone bright

Both night and day!

To bare in witness

‘God In Play!’

3 Shepherds came,

As well 3 Kings,

3 Wisemen,

Bearing Kingly Things…

Gold, Frankincense

And Myrrh,

Gifts To Crown

A King On Earth!

The Angel Came

In Joseph’s Dream!

So, To The Wisemen

Had Foreseen…

‘Herod’s Evil Scheme!’

Herod Thwarted!

The Angels Danced!

Heaven Beamed!

True Love Advanced!

The Holy Family

Seized Their Chance…

To Egypt, Safe And Sound!!!
